The British Red Cross had tested their Taste Explorers Club concept through a smokescreen and needed it to feel like a real, purchasable product before taking it to pilot. We ran a focused creative sprint, using what the smokescreen taught us to redesign the concept’s assets and rewrite its copy for the target audience. The result was a full suite of polished materials, from a landing page and ads through to postcards, recipe cards, an envelope and a booklet, ready to go in front of real supporters.
The challenge
To take the creative and digital assets from the original smokescreen test and refine them into a polished, final, purchasable product. The smokescreen had shown the concept had potential, so the aim was to bring it to life in a way that felt credible and appealing to supporters, rewriting the copy throughout so the landing page and booklet spoke directly to the target audience.
The solution
We started with a brief and moodboards, developed in close collaboration with the British Red Cross team. We drew on the results and feedback from the smokescreen stage to shape the direction from the outset, and kept the target audience front and centre throughout: creative, sociable people who love bonding over food, sharing meals with friends and family, and finding fulfilment beyond their day jobs.
Alongside the visual work, we rewrote the copy for the landing page and booklet, tailoring the tone and messaging to resonate with the people the concept was designed for.
The impact
A full suite of redesigned assets, built to carry the Taste Explorers Club from smokescreen to pilot. This included a landing page, ads, a postcard, recipe cards, an envelope and a booklet, all sharing a consistent look and voice. Together they give the British Red Cross a polished, ready to launch product, with the first impression and the in-hand experience both designed around the audience they want to reach.
"It was an absolute pleasure to work with Coralie and Nellie from Good Innovation on our product redesign. The collaboration felt smooth and easy from start to finish, and it was clear from the very beginning that both Coralie and Nellie really understood what we were trying to achieve. We were very happy with the final result and with how effortless and pleasant the whole process felt."
