The Challenge
Supporting Mind’s Public Fundraising teams to translate existing research into a set of strategically prioritised start point opportunities that can be delivered over the next 12-18 months.
The Solution
Over five weeks we strategically prioritised innovation start point briefs across Mind’s seven public fundraising teams.
The core of the process culminated in us facilitating three hour workshops with each fundraising team. We provided teams with a range of stimulus from in and outside the sector, to help them surface a wide range of opportunities in the sessions.
Over five weeks we strategically prioritised innovation start point briefs across Mind’s seven public fundraising teams.
We then ran a series of exercises to help each team collaboratively prioritise three briefs to work on. Ranging from quick win opportunities, such as optimising existing processes, through to “big bet” opportunities, such as reaching new audiences with new products.
At the end of the project we left the teams with a roadmap for delivering their briefs, along with templates, guides and GI resources to support to make the briefs a success over the next 12 months.
The Impact
Delivering these 21 briefs over the next 12 months has the potential to deliver huge income and impact for Mind.
From reaching new audiences, to raising more money from existing products and services, to pioneering new ways of working. By engaging each fundraising team the project lays the foundations for a more collaborative, strategic approach to working across the department, which has the potential to deliver ongoing impact.
