Our Work

Compassionate Class

Client

RSPCA

Project

We created Compassionate Class, a suite of educational products that inspire children to become more compassionate, informed and active citizens through discovery, interactive learning and taking action.

The challenge

A key element of RSPCA’s strategy is the prevention of animal cruelty. RSCPA needed to create a generational step change in the attitudes, beliefs and actions of young people to reduce animal cruelty and suffering in the future. A secondary objective was to engage the schools with their work to ultimately grow their school fundraising programme.

The solution

We worked with RSPCA’s education experts and combined their knowledge with insights about the needs of primary school teachers, children and the parents. We created Compassionate Class, a suite of educational products that inspire children to become more compassionate, informed and active citizens through discovery, interactive learning and taking action.

We helped them source an specialist education consultancy to design the resources to fit into the national curriculum and to be flexible to suit all types of primary schools from rural to city centres, big and small.

Client feedback

"We are delighted to be rolling this scheme out nationally and hope that as many schools as possible sign up to become compassionate classes. The pilot in Manchester has been a brilliant success and I’ve been very impressed with the quality of engagement we’ve had.”
